The Future Is In GLASS!
Valcucine at 1618, the Sustainable Luxury Fair at Palais de Tokyo
It’s both a trade show, and an art exhibition, 1.618 Paris is the first annual “rendez-vous” of Sustainable Luxury, supported by the French Ministry of Culture, and the WWF ( World Wildlife Fund).
Open to the public, the event proposes, a transverse selection of products and services combining art, creativity, innovation, and sustainable development, at the service of another Luxury, more ethical.
In an innovative and contemporary setting, 1.618 Paris, presents works of artists, who ponder the issues of Sustainable Development and consumption. Valcucine, has been selected among forty brands, for its innovative, creative, and ethic qualities.
Protagonist of Valcucine’s show, is the Artematica Vitrum program, with the Invitrum 100% recyclable glass and aluminum base unit system, suggested in the elegant total white version. A different approach to Sustainable Development, that put the consumer in front of a necessary thought: to be conscious about their choices. This event, joins companies having the ethic, the environment, the patrimony, the society, and the aesthetics, as principles to achieve a responsible production, and an eco-friendly lifestyle. Last year, I posted on A 100% Recyclable Kitchen. There you can visit the links, to see the amazing variety Valcucine offers.
HUMUS PARK: International meeting of Land art artists and Land art exhibition
The project Humus Park – organized by the city of Pordenone, in collaboration with the Artists Vincenzo Sponga and Gabriele Meneguzzi – moves to another special place in the city of Pordenone, the park of the Torre’s Castle , not only rich in green, but also water spring, ancient history (the castle houses the Archaeological Museum, and a little farther on, are the remains of a Roman villa) medieval history (age of building the castle) and contemporary (with neighboring buildings, as an interesting example of industrial archaeology). There you will find thirty, national and international artists, to create the second edition of the meeting, of Land Art wildlife.
The artists will work for a week, inspired by the place, and by nature, creating artworks that will be a fascinating. A gallery, in plain open air, free from constraints of work, or business ownership. Humus-Man Park, offers a respectful relationship between Men and Environment. The artist borrows materials that Nature provides them, they “play,” and then they let the Environment play, to continue the work of re-appropriation.
