Thanks for clicking the link on my profile! Now that you’re here, let me tell you a little bit about myself.

For the last 20 years, I have worked in the service of para-education, supporting students and clients with developmental disabilities. Many of them are Autistic.

When I was working within the Special Education Departments at local school districts, I was privileged to be able to help students who were very active in their school’s recycling programs. Fortunately, I’ve been able to pursue my passion for taking care of our planet through my work, and by helping to instill a green consciousness in those around me.

When I first started Goal For the Green, a year and a half ago, I was focusing mostly on the green aspect. Then about 6 months into my blogging, I joined whole-hog-blogs, and discovered I could combine my daily work with my passion for blogging. I’m frequently amazed at how things have taken off … Thanks to you, my audience!
