    Thanks so much for the wonderful comment. I checked out your site on Earthworms for sale. That’s pretty green too! Just so happens, My day job is coaching developmentally disabled adults, who work at a worm farm. They sell red wigglers and chop after market vegetables to feed the worms. The product is wonderful rich vermicompost.

    Hi Karen,

    Yes it is very rewarding…it also comes with challenges, as most of them are autistic. They don’t like any changes to the routine, or if someone is absent. Most of the time things are fine and enjoyable…not too much like work! They all like feeding the worms…not all like harvesting them for customers though.
    There are four young women and two men on the morning shift (when I work). Funny thing is the guys don’t want anything to do with picking worms. The girls seem to love it.
